The thesis

Why this exists.

Talent Hustler exists because the proposal grind doesn't have to be the proposal grind. Stephen has spent over a decade as a consultant, including several years at Readify as a Principal Consultant, one of Australia's most respected Microsoft consultancies, writing and SME-ing on proposals, and this often meant working evenings or weekends. After Readify, he held CTO and CIO roles at various successful scale-ups where part of the job was vendor management. He got frustrated with the quality of proposals he was receiving from vendors.

The insight that shaped Talent Hustler is simple. Proposals are a vital credibility statement of a firm, and many fall short due to bandwidth constraints. Each proposal gets written, sent, and forgotten. The next one starts close to scratch. The same SMEs lose the same weekends. Win rate becomes the variable that gives when overheads rise.

Talent Hustler is being built to change that pattern. Every proposal a firm writes should make the next one easier to win. The people doing billable work should get to stay doing billable work.

The founder

About Stephen.

Stephen is the founder of Talent Hustler. Twenty years in tech, ten as a consultant. Previously a Principal Consultant at Readify, where pre-sales and SME responsibility for proposals were core to the role. Subsequently CTO at various scale-ups with successful exits, where vendor management was a significant part of the job. He's lived this problem from both sides of the table.
